Andrea Yates guilty or insane?
This was an interesting movie. It shows you that Andrea had psychosis probably due to post partem depression. It also mentions that she might have had it with her first born and combined with a religious sect where God is to be feared, this led all the more to her psychosis. It leaves you thinking about the need to give mental illness more attention in the healthcare system. Not all people would like this documentary but if you interested in how the mind works and how it can cause such horrendous acts like Andrea did with drowning her five kids in order to be saved and go to heaven, you would this fascinating.

Mugshots conveys different aspects of the given situation. The individual and surrounding impressions of law enforcement, family and friends as part of the event are presented during the show in a clear concise manner.
In coming full circle about the show itself...they clarify through comprehensive information that appearances are deceiving even with something as 'benign as a box of chocolates ," as a metaphor for the human condition and all its darkness.
